LITTLE BOY'S LEGACY

On January 3, 2025, our Little Boy, our 12-year old Yorkie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge from home.  He was diagnosed with Intestinal Lymphoma and it was so sudden and unexpected.  One day he was eating, the next he wasn't.  We knew he didn't seem right and within a few days, we had him at Dr. Ward for an ultrasound, where she found the cancer throughout his intestines.  He had to make his journey the night we found out - he wouldn't have made it through the night without suffering.  What a difficult decision it was to let our Boy go.  He had a terrible life before we rescued him at a year old - mental and physical abuse so bad that he never forgot.  We gave him nothing but love for 12 years and he was Nikki's other soulmate.  We miss him every single day.

The night he crossed over, we realized for the first time what other pet owners have told us over the years - it was an emergency and needed to happen that day.  We couldn't wait.

Little Boy's Legacy is to help people and their beloved pets in a similar situation.  Because of Little Boy, we can now help pets the same day/next day in an emergency situation.  Understand that our qualification still holds:  Your pet still needs to have been seen by a veterinarian within 6 months of your call to us and have a terminal illness.  We cannot make exceptions for that one qualification that we have.
